Khloe Kardashian Explains Why She’s Not Ashamed Of Being Cheated On By Her Exes

Khloé Kardashian is reflecting on dealing with infidelity in her past relationships, which she says taught her a fair share of valuable lessons.

The reality star, 40, has made headlines over the years after cheating scandals muddied her marriage to Lamar Odom as well as her relationship with the father of her two children, Tristan Thompson.

During Wednesday’s episode of her “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast, which aired on X, formerly Twitter, she made it crystal clear that she’s “not ashamed” of being cheated on and her exes’ infidelity had nothing to do with her.

“I know what was done to me was not about me,” Kardashian told guest Jay Shetty. “I know that was about them, and they have past trauma that they’ve never healed from.”

Kardashian explained that her past love interests have always blamed stepping out on their relationship on their parents or “coming from a broken home.”

“It’s always something like that,” she told Shetty. “It’s never about the immediate relationship.”

But the mom of two shared that throughout all her relationship drama, she was able to lean on her loved ones and her faith in God for support.

“If it wasn’t for my family, my core circle and also my relationship with God … I just learned it wasn’t about me,” Kardashian said.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum went on to declare that she harbors no ill feelings because she believes she was “used for that person to learn life lessons.”

She then explained that she tried to approach the men who cheated on her with “respect and kindness.”

“No matter what someone did to me, I was never manipulative or trying to do the same thing back,” Kardashian added.

The Good American founder admitted to Shetty that it was “a lot harder” for her to deal with the infidelity in her marriage to Odom because she was younger.

“But what’s interesting is with each relationship where something bad has happened, I didn’t take it like ‘woe is me, I’m this victim,‘” she continued. “I took it more like ‘OK, that’s another layer of armor that I’m putting on myself that can [help me] get through anything else that happens in my life.’ But it’s also not going to harden me for my next relationship.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Kardashian, who said she’s not dating, admitted that despite the heartbreak she’s suffered, she’s still a “hopeless romantic” and looks forward to meeting her “forever partner” one day.

“I also love that I’ve taken about three years off of dating,” she shared. “And I feel like I’ve really got to know myself on a deeper level.”
