Prince Harry dealt brutal blow by David Beckham after snub he ‘never forgave him for’

When tied the knot with in a star-studded Royal wedding, the guest list was filled with American A-listers such as Serena Williams, , and Oprah Winfrey, alongside British heavyweights like football icon and his wife .

However, according to a shocking new book, the Duke of Sussex’s long-standing friendship with David Beckham allegedly crumbled following a perceived “snub” by the Royal couple. The author claims that this led to Beckham seeking “revenge” on his former friend.

In his book, House of Beckham, royal expert Tom Bower alleges that the football superstar felt slighted by just months after he had graced the Duke’s lavish Royal wedding in Windsor.

This occurred during the 2018 Invictus Games held in Sydney in October, merely five months after David and his wife were seen beaming at Harry and Meghan’s nuptials.

Bower suggests in his book, as reported by The Independent, that Beckham found himself largely alone at the games, puzzled as to why officials seemed to be keeping him content yet distant from , despite having arrived on the agreed day to meet the Duke.

The author further alleged that had requested his friend David Beckham to keep a distance, a directive supposedly originating from Meghan, Harry’s wife. “Photographs of the two together were forbidden.

David Beckham was said to be puzzled as to why Harry wouldn’t meet him. The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan. She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham, and especially not from his wife Victoria,” the author claimed.

However, Bower suggested that Beckham never quite forgot, and later decided to miss out on time with Harry at the Sydney games. When an opportunity arose years later to support Harry’s brother William, he was eager to do so – particularly given the strained relationship between the Royal brothers since the Sussexes’ move to the US.

During the 2022 World Cup, invited David Beckham to Boston for the Earthshot Prize. Beckham flew nearly 8,000 miles to support the launch of the awards, aimed at finding solutions to the climate crisis.

Bower interpreted this as “Beckham getting his revenge for the Sydney snub”.
