Princess Kate is focused on her ‘new normal’ according to a royal insider
The has “drawn a line” under the challenges of last year and is filled with “positivity and hope”, according to a royal insider.
Princess Kate was diagnosed with a type of cancer last March following a visit to the hospital for major abdominal surgery in January and has kept herself away from the public eye until recently.
The future Queen underwent preventative chemotherapy and only made a handful of appearances last year, but in September, she announced her treatment had been completed and that she was looking forward to easing herself back into royal life.
Earlier this month, since her cancer ordeal began as she visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, which was responsible for her treatment.
Following her visit, Kate announced that and remains “focused” on her recovery.

She wrote in a statement: “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.”
Now a royal insider who is allegedly close to the Prince and Princess of Wales spoke of how the princess is planning her next steps as she enters this new chapter of her life.
They told magazine: “She [Princess Kate] has drawn a line under the last year, and she can move forward.
“The word ‘remission’ is such a positive one to use, and it just feels a veil has been lifted on their life of the last year, and that they can move forward with positivity and hope.”
The source added that it’s been a “tough journey” for the princess who has now found a renewed “purpose” of what she wants to do in her life.
They explained: “It has been a tough journey — harder than we perhaps thought. She has been through a lot, and it has been a rough road. Serious illness like cancer does change you.

“She has a young family, and it makes you rethink everything – your purpose and what you want to do with your life.”
They added: “For the princess, family – her husband and children – are more important than anything else.”
Other royal sources have previously told the Mail that Kate’s “new normal” won’t see a dramatic change in her appearances.
They said that the royal will not be making a full return to royal duties any time soon but she will continue to ease herself back into social life gradually, as she’s been doing in the last few months.
They said: “There is no huge reset button that’s going to be hit in January.
“What we will actually see is a slow continuation of the Princess balancing her recovery and her public-facing duties, as she outlined back in September [when she warned her recovery was still ongoing despite having completed her chemotherapy].”
