Emmerdale delivered yet another shocking turn for Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) as he evaded the wrath of Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) vengeance. In the episode aired on Tuesday (January 21), Anthony was unmasked as an abuser to his daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly) from her teenage years, with her husband, Caleb, hot on his tail.
To worsen matters, Anthony had also taken a blow to the skull courtesy of Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), who wielded a candlestick.
Caleb levelled a gun at Anthony with the pair had a showdown in an empty barn. He demanding a confession from his father-in-law for his despicable acts.
The confrontation escalated into a struggle over the weapon just as (Jeff Hordley) approached the barn in time to detect the sound of gunfire. The following nights episode (January 22), cleared up the suspense neither Anthony nor Caleb had been hit by the bullet.
Anthony managed to slip out of Caleb’s grasp and fled the barn while Cain dashed towards the scene.
