Napoli will reportedly try to sign target Patrick Dorgu if their pursuit of fails. In an episode of ultimate punishment, the Red Devils could have their move for Dorgu hijacked if they fail to agree to Garnacho’s exit.
The United winger has struggled for consistency this season and does not seem a natural fit for ’s 3-4-2-1 formation. Napoli are widely reported to be interested in a potential move for the 20-year-old.

The report claims that a series of discussions are set to take place in Milan. United representatives are reportedly travelling to the Italian capital to discuss a move for Dorgu and will also meet with Napoli chiefs to thrash out a potential move for Garnacho.
But United could suffer a major blow if Napoli hijack any deal for Dorgu. Amorim lacks players who fit his system and the Denmark international has been identified as a player who can develop into a specialist left-wing-back.
The United boss has been forced to use right-footers Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui on the left. Luke Shaw remains absent for an extended period with a calf injury.

Dorgu, 20, has impressed for Lecce and has been identified by United as potentially the first signing of the Amorim era. They will want to prevent Napoli from acquiring the Copenhagen-born star, who has scored three goals in 20 Serie A appearances this season.
It is expected that United will make sales before they press ahead with any signings this month, having so far failed to seal Amorim’s first arrival. Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Antony have all been widely linked with exits.
Only Garnacho seems likely to have any chance of a long-term future at Old Trafford, but his sale would represent ‘pure profit’ because he graduated from the club’s academy. Meanwhile, Rashford reportedly has interest from Monaco, Borussia Dortmund and Saudi Arabia.
