Marcus Rashford has been strongly linked with a Manchester United exit
Marcus Rashford is reportedly keen to play for Manchester United until he reaches an agreement over his exit. The exiled forward is claimed to have been conducting extra training sessions in a bid to force his way back into ’s side.
Rashford is widely expected to leave Old Trafford, either this month or in the summer. He has been linked with a host of clubs, from Barcelona, , Monaco, West Ham, Borussia Dortmund and those in the Saudi Pro League.
However, the 27-year-old reportedly bears no grudge towards Amorim despite his brutal axing and is willing to play for the Red Devils until he finds a new club. He has made the matchday squad only once during United’s last nine games across all competitions.
According to , Rashford is ‘ready, willing and able’ to play in the club’s crunch Europa League clash with Rangers this week. Winning the Battle of Britain would put United in an advantageous position to automatically qualify for the knockout rounds of the European competition.
But the England international seems extremely unlikely to feature given his absence from United’s recent matches. He has not appeared since being withdrawn during the Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen on November 12. Amorim substituted the striker while United trailed 1-0 and he has scarcely been seen since.
