JFK’s Grandson Makes Eye-Popping Comparison Between Late Grandmother And Usha Vance

Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, made a curious comment on social media Monday as Vice President JD Vance was being sworn in to office.

“True or false,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O.”

Schlossberg prompted a flurry of polarized responses by comparing his late grandmother’s attractiveness to that of the incoming second lady.

“Gotta be honest man, I think most people don’t do hotness rankers involving their grandmas,” wrote one user on X. Another commented: “A very odd way to perceive one’s grandmother. If you have a therapist, mention this at the next session.”

Schlossberg said in August that he intentionally uses “levity and humor” on social media, telling Town & Country that “a lot of people are confused, but I think a lot of people understand what I’m doing” — which presumably explains Monday’s post.

Many of those in the know are thus criticizing Schlossberg for seeking attention by commenting on his late grandmother being “hot,” however, with one X user responding: “It’s a sad state when a member of the Kennedy family is engagement farming.”

“I’m a literal pervert,” Schlossberg, 32, sarcastically joked in a separate post addressing the mixed response. “I called my grandmother hot… have I totally lost it ? Jesus … this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job.”

The Harvard Law School graduate does have a job: Schlossberg has written editorials for numerous media outlets and became a political correspondent for Vogue in 2024.

Schlossberg, who supported former Vice President Kamala Harris in last year’s election and called his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. an “embarrassment,” is nonetheless getting dunked on by countless social media users who don’t seem to care if he was joking or not.
