Jeremy Clarkson shares the one thing he hates about Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

Popular TV host is set to return to the spotlight, leading the revived version of ITV quiz show with an exciting new series that premieres this Sunday.

As the contestants prepare to face the intense challenge of answering questions in the much-feared hot seat, the host, known for his charismatic presence, has shared an unexpected revelation about his own feelings going into the new season.

Despite being at the helm of the program, he candidly admits to experiencing a fair amount of nerves, particularly regarding one specific aspect of the game: his personal lifeline, known as “Ask The Host.”

This unique lifeline allows contestants, during their high-stakes journey toward winning a life-changing million-pound prize, to seek Jeremy’s assistance on one of the tricky questions posed during the quiz.

However, the twist lies in the fact that contestants cannot truly rely on him; he has confessed that he often feels “hopeless” when it comes to providing the right answers.

This intriguing admission highlights the pressure on contestants and the host himself, as there is no guarantee that his knowledge will help the hopefuls in their quest for success.

As the series approaches, audiences wonder how this dynamic will play out when the questions get tough and the stakes are high.

Speaking about being handed in his own lifeline, the former Top Gear star said: “It’s still terrifying. This series I have been particularly hopeless.

“I was doing reasonably well on my average getting them right, but this series I have been really useless!”

When is not feeling the nerves, he admits he can spot the players who are feeling the pressure from a mile away—but it sometimes only worsens his feelings if they eventually call on him for help.

The star recalled: [Their nerves] comes off them like a big red glow! You can see nerves manifest.

“When they ask me a question, you think ‘what if I get this wrong and the charity loses thousands of pounds?’ It’s terrifying.”

Jeremy admitted that the most nervous celeb on the upcoming series is boxing champ and former I’m A Celebrity campmate Tony Bellew.
