The two men met again at several galas in Washington DC to celebrate Trump’s historic inauguration as the 47th president of the United States. Despite being adversaries in November, both ‘The Problem Child’ and Tyson were ready to party and ran into each other. In a video shared on X – previously known as Twitter – Fury was seen hoisted onto the shoulders of his former rival, with onlookers cheering them on. The 28-year-old effortlessly lifted the ex-heavyweight world champion, who roared in delight.
Both men were smartly dressed for the black-tie event. ‘The Problem Child’ captioned the post with a simple: “BEST FRIENDS.”Paul – who previously backed Trump to win the – prior to the Tyson video going viral, shared his thoughts following the inauguration. He posted: ” Paul, who had earlier supported Trump to win the , shared his thoughts after the inauguration.
He wrote: “Today is about togetherness in every way. Fists down, unity up. Honoured to be here. God Bless America. Any American who isn’t in support of Trump after this speech simply hates America and doesn’t want what’s best for this country and the world.”
On the same day, Jake and his older brother Logan encountered UFC star Conor McGregor, even sharing the same vehicle despite their ongoing feud with ‘The Notorious. ‘ In December, rumours circulated that McGregor was negotiating a fight with Logan Paul. In a post on X – formerly known as Twitter – the Irishman denied rumours of a bout with Topuria, stating: “I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
The potential face-off could earn both men a staggering $250million. However, ‘The Maverick’ recently stated that he is currently concentrating on his WWE career. Despite this, Logan seems to be open to a confrontation with the Irishman, having appealed to UFC and WWE chief Ari Emanuel for permission to challenge the former two-division champion.
