New US President vowed to take “appropriate action” if Prince Harry is exposed for lying about his drug use in his visa application.

In his memoir Spare, the Duke , cocaine, and magic mushrooms, which it’s been argued should bar his entry into the US.

Washington think tank the Heritage Foundation has been campaigning to have ‘s visa application made public, revealing whether or not he took drugs.

They sued the Department of Homeland Security last year in an attempt to speed up this process, by a judge. Now, with Mr Trump in office, the think tank is hoping to expedite the process of exposing the documents.

The Republican was sworn into office on Monday for his second term and has already pertaining to immigration, including declaring an emergency at the US-Mexico border.

Mr Trump has a notoriously tough stance on immigration, heightening fears that the Duke of Sussex could be deported and sent back to the UK following his and ‘s exit from the in 2020.

Nile Gardiner, a member of the Heritage Foundation, said Mr Trump could use his executive powers to overturn Homeland Security’s decision and release ‘s visa application.

Before he was elected, Mr Trump that he would not “protect” , raising questions over what this could mean for his future in the US.

He said: “. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me.”

Mr Trump has been publicly voicing his feelings towards for years, making it clear that he will not support him during his time living in the US.

He wrote on X in 2020: “I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada.

“Now they have left Canada for the US however, protection. They must pay!”
