fans are speculating that Caleb Miligan is on the brink of a new love interest after discovering his wife Ruby Miligan-Fox’s affair with Caleb Dingle.
In a shocking twist last year, Ruby (played by Beth Cordingly) and Cain (portrayed by Jeff Hordley) had a one-night stand, leaving viewers stunned. At the time, Cain’s spouse Moira (Natalie J. Robb) was undergoing surgery for a brain tumour.
Ruby, on the other hand, was grappling with the sudden appearance of her estranged father Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day). It was later revealed that he had sexually assaulted her as a teenager and was the biological father of her daughter Steph (Georgia Jay).
Since their unexpected sexual encounter, Ruby and Cain have been on a downward spiral, consumed by guilt while keeping their secret hidden. However, Anthony eventually discovered their secret, reports .
The truth was unveiled to Caleb during a confrontation with Anthony in Tuesday’s (January 21) dramatic episode.

Upon learning that Anthony is Steph’s father, Caleb sought revenge. He held Anthony at gunpoint at Moira’s farm, threatening to kill him unless he admitted to his heinous acts.
However, Anthony ended up confessing to Caleb that Ruby and Cain had slept together, leaving Caleb shocked by the revelation. A struggle ensued over Caleb’s gun, and a gunshot was heard as the episode concluded.
Now that Caleb is aware of Ruby and Cain’s affair, fans believe they’ve ‘figured out’ his next romantic partner – and she’s a familiar face.

On an Facebook fan page, one fan questioned: “Will Caleb believe Anthony that Cain had one night stand with Ruby? ? ? ?” Another fan speculated: “I think with how vulnerable Ruby is feeling right now she will confess if he confronts her.”
Meanwhile, a third fan suggested that Caleb could move on to Ella Forster, played by Paula Lana, writing: “Hopefully Caleb moves on! I can see him with Ella.”
This idea was echoed by another fan, who agreed: “I’ve always thought this! They’d make a good couple”.
