It’s been 20 years since was cast as in Casino Royale.
It has been almost four years since he bowed out in No Time To Die, and fans are continuing to speculate over who will replace him as 007 in the reboot.
Nevertheless, we wouldn’t be surprised if an official announcement of the seventh official 007 arrived at some point in 2025.
And in the meantime, there have been some changes in the bookies’ race, which should be taken with a pinch of salt.

In recent weeks The Crown’s Josh O’Connor has been the bookies’ favourite but the latest odds has Kraven the Hunter star retaking the top spot.
According to Betfred, the latter is once again the favourite on 6-4 in joint first with The Gentleman’s Theo James.
Meanwhile, James Norton shares 4-1 with O’Connor, followed by Paul Mescal on 5-1 and Jack Lowden on 6-1.
