and Prince Harry are reportedly feeling “distressed” this week after new accusations and scathing comments have been made against them.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who quit royal life five years ago, were the topic of discussion over the weekend under the headline “American Hustle”.
In the feature, which focused on the last five years since Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, moved to America, various sources were interviewed about the couple and their lives behind closed doors.
This opened the door to a number of fresh accusations, with one source alleging that some staff who worked with Meghan during her podcast
The duchess was also accused of having been “really, really awful” to members of her team at times, with someone even citing there was some “mean girl” behaviour present despite the fact Meghan had been “warm” towards employees to begin with.

, the couple have dismissed the allegations with sources close to the Sussexes describing them as “distressing”. Their official office have declined to comment.
An insider has also that the article has come at a difficult time for the couple as Meghan’s new show “With Love, Meghan” was postponed and Harry is set to spend time in the UK for a tricky court case.
The source said: “Things aren’t easy for them right now. Vanity Fair have succeeded in making a bad time worse.”
As well as the duchess being criticised heavily by sources in the feature, also received some less than favourable comments against him.

This included the idea that he was never fully engaged with Spotify. A former Spotify employee told the publication that it was “challenging” to engage Harry, while another person who interviewed for a job with the couple said: “I just felt like he kind of didn’t want to be there doing that at this time…. My expectation was ‘charming receiving line.’ And it was clear he wasn’t that person. At least that day.”
