Mary Trump said Sunday that the second inauguration of her uncle, President-elect Donald Trump, will be “a very dark day.”
“There is no pretending otherwise,” the clinical psychologist, who has been a vocal yearslong critic of her relative, warned in the latest edition of her email newsletter, “The Good In Us.”
But she did find a silver lining.
Mary Trump said she takes “comfort in the knowledge that so much of what they intend is already out in the open” and “we will be watching.”
The returning president is Monday ― on his return to the Oval Office ― reportedly expected to sign more than 200 executive orders.
