American businessman is set to take the Oath of Office during the ceremony today, and become the 47th president of the United States.

The Swearing-In Ceremony will take place at noon ET (around 5pm GMT) in , with family members, including his wife, , in attendance.

It is expected that Trump’s fifth and youngest child, , who he shares with Melania, will also be there, though much has changed for the 18-year-old since his father’s first presidency – including his height.

Barron now towers above his 78-year-old father, who himself stands 6 foot 3 inches (1.9 metres) tall.

Melania, 54, is said to have met in 1998 and married in 2005, marking Donald’s third and her first. Barron was born in March 2006.

He spent much of his childhood at the Trump Tower in Manhattan, living there until his father was sworn in as the 45th president in early 2017, when he was 11. He lived there until 2019, when the family permanently relocated to Trump’s private club, , in Palm Beach, Florida.

Now aged 18 and an adult, Barron now stands at an impressive 6 foot 9 inches (2.06 metres), dwarfing both his parents.

He is also the tallest of the Trump siblings, with his half-brothers, Eric, 41, standing at 6 foot 5 inches and , 47, at 6 foot 1 inches.

Barron also has two half-sisters, Ivanka Trump, 43, and Tiffany Trump, 31, who are 5 foot 9 and 5 foot 6 respectively, according to .

Barron graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, , in May last year and is now a New York University student – a move that did not follow the family tradition of attending either the University of Pennsylvania or Georgetown University.

During his father’s third election campaign, he made . However, social media suggest that he played an active role behind the scenes, advising his father on how to connect with voters.
