IT was a case of Faces together as Ronnie Wood got close and personal with Rod Stewart as he helped his old pal celebrate his 80th birthday.
The Rolling Stones guitarist, 77, took to his to share glimpses inside the rocker’s swanky dinner party at London’s Mount Street Restaurant on Saturday to mark his big birthday.
And among the beaming photos, Ronnie posted a video clip as the former The Faces bandmates pressed their noses against one another, before bursting into laughter.
The due have often been quizzed over whether they are related because of their similar nose shapes and often take the opportunity to poke fun at the assumptions.
Ronnie attended the bash sporting a Versace shirt and polka dotted blazer, while Rod was wearing a snazzy black and gold suit over a white shirt left partially unbuttoned.

The duo were both joined by their wives, with Rod’s wife Penny Lancaster, 53, wowing in a plunging metallic dress, while Ronnie’s wife Sally, 47, looked elegant in a floaty black and gold maxi dress.

The pair have been friends since 1969 after singer-guitarist Steve Marriott left the Small Faces and the three remaining members recruited the new pair and changed their name to Faces. They went on to enjoy hits including Stay With Me, Ooh La La and Glad and Sorry.
Although the band parted ways in 1975, the two rockers kept in touch, with Rod serving as best man to Ronnie’s wedding to Sally in 2012.
Ronnie’s post sparked excitement from the band’s fans, as they begged to the duo to bring Faces back for a reunion.
