The atmosphere in castle is becoming increasingly intense as the faithful contestants fiercely seek to distinguish the liars amongst them. Each nail-biting episode gives the participants the opportunity to expel one contestant, hoping to unmask a deceiver.

Last week’s episodes saw Linda, Alex, and Leon eliminated from the gameshow. While they triumphed in ejecting priest Linda, their attempts were futile with the other two.

Discussing their dramatic exits on Monday’s edition of , Alex was visibly upset. Showing viewers the heart-wrenching moment he was forced to leave, he remarked: “Couldn’t believe it, completely robbed!”

Yet, Alex admitted there was a bittersweet pleasure in informing his fellow competitors that he was indeed a loyal contestant and they had judged incorrectly. Alex was accompanied by Lisa on Lorraine’s couch, who reflected on her own ‘murder’ orchestrated by the traitors.

She expressed to Lorraine that being murdered in such fashion was almost flattering. Lisa said: “Being murdered is a kind of compliment, it means that you’re getting close and they’re obviously worried about you”, reports .

Lisa elaborated, explaining: “So, you can take a sense of satisfaction in the fact that you think, ‘Actually, they knew I was getting close and was onto them’. I’m taking it as a compliment!”

Despite their departure from the competition, which took place last year, both contestants have retained a strong bond outside the show, with Lisa and Linda even making appearances at Alex’s wedding.

Alex opened up about their strong connection, saying: “We were just totally silly together and that was it, we connected and it was really special.”

Echoing his sentiments, Lisa added: “Alex reminds me of my boys in many ways, very similar sense of humour.”

She further commented on the importance of humour in coping with stress: “So, we had that dry sense of humour where we’d look at things and just laugh, laughter would get you through an awful lot of tense moments.”

Although Alex and Lisa have been eliminated, nine contestants remain, with Charlotte and Minah still undiscovered as traitors. But with signs of a potential betrayal looming, fans voice their concerns, with one stating: “Charlotte throwing Minah under the bus.”

Another fan expressed annoyance: “Charlotte is really p*****g me off, she’s throwing Minah under the bus when there isn’t any need to.”

Fearful of a backstabbing, another viewer remarked: “If Charlotte betrays our girl Minah I will riot! “

Meanwhile, a concerned viewer speculated: “If Charlotte gets Minah out, then I’d want the faithfuls to win.”
