BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent made an abrupt interjection during the latest instalment of the popular news show as she begged meteorologist not to sing.
Sally and her co-star Jon Kay were back on the famous red sofa on Monday morning, covering the news headlines in the UK and across the globe.
But as the show took a lighter approach as the presenters went on to discuss an upcoming singing programme set to air on the , Jon suggested Carol should give them a song.
After sharing her weather report with the nation, Jon said: “Aww, it’s looking pretty grim, isn’t it? In that case Carol we need a sing a long, you ready for a sing-song?”
Despite looking fairly confused, Carol did respond by saying “yes”.

But Sally was not having any of it and said: “No Carol! Don’t get Carol to sing, no, no!”
