Svitolina shows “fighting spirit”
Elina Svitolina fought back from two breaks down in the first set and won 11 of the next 12 games to beat Veronika Kudermetova 6-4 6-1 to reach the quarterfinals for the third time. As usual, there was no handshake at the net from the Ukrainian.
