The east African country borders the Indian Ocean and is home to Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, and the world’s second-deepest lake, Tanganyika.

A visit to these magical lands offers adventure-seeking visitors animal-filled plains including lions, cheetahs, buffalos, hippopotamus, wildebeests and leopards. 

Tanzania’s distinctive natural wonders are truly a sight to behold including Lake Natron with its distinctive red hues or an expansive crater found at Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Lake Manyara is located in the Monduli District of Arusha Region and is famed for its tree climbing lions, great birdlife, elephants, baboons and an array of flamingos. 

Tanzanian cuisine offers a mix of traditional African food, with a strong Arabic/Indian influence.
