Fans of are currently getting their fix with the new series airing three nights a week on . But it seems the fun won’t end as the latest season does, with a brand new celebrity edition of the show rumoured to be happening “some time in 2025”.
So far, however, it is not known when it will be made or broadcast, or who will be taking part. Kalpna Patel-Knight, the ‘s head of entertainment, said: “The Traitors has well and truly established itself as an unmissable highlight of the year and the news of a fourth outing, alongside a brand new celebrity version coming to the , will take the series to a whole new level.
“It will once again be fascinating for our audiences to see who’ll outwit, outplay, and outlast. Let the mind games begin!”
With the announcement, rumours have been rife speculating who might appear on the star-studded version of the much-loved show. But now, one soap star has put her name in the hat, saying she would “love” to participate.
Lisa Riley, best known for playing Mandy Dingle on ITV’s , shared her thoughts on what would happen if she were to make a Traitors debut.
Posting to , Lisa shared a selfie of her in the Traitors colours with a huge hood up, as she wrote: “Yes…Yes and Yes again to all your questions… I would love to do CELEBRITY TRAITORS.
“I would be absolutely shot though, I would truly be laughing and giggling all the time. I would just love the experience.”
‘s Michelle Connor actress, Kym Marsh, responded in the comments agreeing that it would be up her street too. She wrote: “Me tooooo!”
Lisa replied: “We would have a bloody riot – it would be hilarious.”
Fans were delighted with the update, with them commenting to show their excitement. One suggested: “That would be amazing half cast and half ! So much fun.”

It’s up to the Faithful to spot and stop the Traitors murdering anyone each night before their numbers dwindle. They do this by banishing players at the roundtable.
If they achieve this goal, a growing prize jackpot is theirs for the taking. If they lose, the prize money goes to the Traitors.
