was halted this morning as Breakfast presenters and Stephen Dixon shared a worrying breaking news announcement. The pair appeared speechless as the news channel aired scenes that were live from Gaza.
Describing what was happening on screen, Anne said: “There’s a big explosion,” as thick smoke filled the air on the live broadcast. She added: “It seems to just have happened.”
Stephen welcomed defence editor at the Evening Standard, Robert Fox, to the show as the three of them watched on at the stream in awe.
