Dancing on Ice viewers have called out Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern for their ‘annoying’ habit during the latest episode of the ITV skating competition.
The show, which aired a fresh episode on Sunday (January 19), was fronted by the duo, who introduced five new celebs set to take to the ice.
Last week’s performances saw Chris Taylor, Sam Aston, and Ferne McCann glide across the ice, while this week welcomed the remaining five celebrities to showcase their talents to the judges.

“Why do they keep on mentioning that they are live?! Lmao,” one viewer quipped. Another chimed in: “We know bits are live others are not. Why keep mentioning it?”, as a third exclaimed: “Why do they keep reiterating that it’s live WE KNOW! It’s annoying.”
In a surprising twist, Dancing on Ice has axed the traditional skate-off, now sending the celebrity with the lowest combined score from public votes and judges’ scores straight home.

Fans voiced their displeasure at this new format change, with one viewer writing: “Getting rid of the dance-off is completely unfair because it puts one group at a disadvantage to the other.”
Another viewer commented: “I do think the other skating couple should be given an extra week to skate, not really fair on them being voted out so quickly when it was their first week skating.” One simply stated: “I don’t agree with this but that’s what’s happening.”
