Viewers of ITV’s hit quiz show Limitless Win were up in arms after witnessing one duo’s approach to what they called a ‘very easy’ question during the latest episode (January 18).
The audience met two A&E nurses, Karis and Tim, who were treated to an emotional surprise early in the show when hosts Ant and Dec showed their families meeting for the first time behind the scenes.
Another notable moment occurred when Tim, a self-proclaimed Jane McDonald superfan, was overjoyed as the Loose Women star made an unexpected appearance to support them backstage.
But despite the excitement in the studio, viewers were left flocking to social media to vent their frustration over the couple’s tedious strategy for answering their first rung-climbing question, ‘How many words are there in the NATO phonetic alphabet?’.
Instead of a quick-fire response, Karis proceeded to recite the entire set phonetically, one word at a time, reports .

Subsequently giving the correct count of 26 didn’t stop fans from taking to social media to air their grievances about their long-winded technique.
Many pointed out that the pair could have simply counted the number of letters in the alphabet to get the answer, rather than recount every single phonetic word.
“That’s a very easy start – why she trying to remember letters?” asked one viewer, as another penned: “Anyone who takes that long to work out how many letters there are in the alphabet doesn’t deserve the money.”

“Was counting the letters in the alphabet really necessary?” queried another ITV fan. “26 letters – 26 words,” declared another.
“I swear the contestants on #limitlesswin just overthink every question,” commented one viewer.
Before their stint on the episode, the couple discussed their perceived strengths as a team.
“We know that we work very well together; especially under pressure. We can make quick decisions, if we don’t know something we have that trust in each other where we can be comfortable saying “I don’t think that is the answer,” Tim revealed.
