Ayden Heaven watched Eintracht Frankfurt’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund
wonderkid Ayden Heaven was in attendance to watch Eintracht Frankfurt beat on Friday night, according to Frankfurt chief Markus Krosche.
And the German has admitted that discussions have taken place with the Gunners over a permanent move for Heaven, who is one of the brightest 18-year-olds emerging from Hale End. The youngster is yet to sign a professional contract at and his scholarship terms will expire at the end of the season.
“We spoke to ,” Krosche told . “We will try to sign him. He is a really good prospect and we will see if we can find a solution with him.”
Krosche’s open admission suggests that are set to lose Heaven, who is part of the same academy class as Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly – two players to have graduated to important roles in ‘s senior side.
It was reported by earlier this week that Frankfurt are interested in Heaven. want to keep hold of the centre-back, but they would at least be due compensation if they lose him, given that he was developed in their academy.
Heaven was included in ‘s pre-season tour of the USA and made his senior debut against Preston North End in the Carabao Cup in October.

But he could now follow the likes of Jude Bellingham, Jadon Sancho and more recently Jamie Gittens in taking their talents to Germany with hopes of earning regular first-team football.
Heaven, who has featured in 2 and in the UEFA Youth League this season, is working his way through England’s youth ranks and is highly regarded by many. But the chances of him finding a place in the first-team on a regular basis are slim, given that William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have formed a formidable centre-back partnership.
Fellow young Gunner Chido Obi-Martin jumped ship last year, with the 17-year-old striker joining ‘s academy after shattering numerous records with ‘s youth teams in 2023/24.
There was no room for Heaven on the bench when beat north London rivals 2-1 on Wednesday. Arteta instead opted for youngsters Ismael Kabia and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, who were both unused, and he may end up paying the price for refusing to give Heaven greater first-team responsibilities as Frankfurt look to take him off their hands.
