What is Aaron Pierre’s ‘That’s Mufasa’ video?
In December, Pierre appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” to promote his new movie, “Mufasa: The Lion King,” where he voices Simba’s father.
Like other guests on the show, Pierre entered the stage by going through a “spirit tunnel.” According to the official website of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” the spirit tunnel consists of “two lines of people hyping up the guest with chants and dance moves before they hit the stage.”
As Pierre gyrated down the “spirit tunnel,” he was surrounded by people backstage who kept chanting, “Aaron Pierre, that’s Mufasa,” as he did a little dance down the hall towards the stage.
The clip was later shared on the official YouTube account of “The Jennifer Hudson Show” and it’s been viewed more than 1.6 million times.
In the comments, fans said they couldn’t get enough of the “Rebel Ridge” actor.
“Oh he taking his timeee through the tunnel and we don’t mind AT ALLLLL!! 👀 lol 😅,” one person wrote.
Another said, “Lawddd this man is fine.”
A third added, “I need to Stop coming back to this clip everyday…I need to stop ..I cannot stop” with a laughing emoji.

Another person posted a video of himself doing the dance in front of his TV and said his partner has the “TEMU version” of Pierre at home.
Women have also been getting in on Pierre’s special dance. Some ladies edited themselves into Pierre’s “spirit tunnel” video while others jokingly shared their reactions to Pierre’s dancing moves online.
On TikTok, one woman shared a video of herself eating while Pierre’s “spirit tunnel” video played in the background and said the reason why she’s so quiet is because she’s thinking about Pierre.
Then another fan edited herself into the viral clip and joked that “haters will say it’s AI but I was clearly there!!!”
