Sum 41: Having released their final album last March, Sum 41 is in town Friday night to say goodbye on the Tour of the Setting Sum, the band’s ninth-last show ever before they wrap it up in Toronto Jan. 30 — that’s sold out, of course, but the Edmonton show has tickets left!

This first-of-the-year Alberta Avenue fest has the theme of Barnyard Blitz this year, which will carry through its ice sculptures, rustic lamppost displays and interactive farm-themed activities, including animals at a petting zoo.
Snowshoeing, roast bannock and cultural storytelling are also in the mix, with plenty of string performers, Ukrainian dancers and much more.
