Married to Edoardo since 2020 – and currently – 36-year-old Beatrice is also stepmum to Edoardo’s eight-year-old son Wolfie.
Shortly after her birth, Sienna’s name was announced – with the couple’s choice of name said to be very special and personal.
Speaking to after Sienna’s birth, a family friend revealed that Beatrice wanted a name that began with ‘S’ – a special nod to her own mother.
The friend told the publication: “They were looking for an Italian name which started with an S for Sarah, to honour the Duchess [Sarah Ferguson].”

They also added, “[and also one that] reflected the golden rust colour of both the Duchess’s hair colour and Beatrice’s, which the new baby shares.”
Speaking about her goddaughter with , ‘s close friend, Gabriela Peacock shared rare details about Sienna.
She told the publication: “Sese [Sienna’s nickname] is so gorgeous, so sweet. She’s beautiful. She’s very, very blonde; she looks like a mini-Beatrice, and she is very girly. She and Wolfie are very well-behaved and polite.”
Shortly after news of Beatrice’s second pregnancy broke in October 2024, Sarah took to to share a sweet message on the family’s happy news. She wrote: “A very proud GiGi/Mum today.
“Such an incredible blessing and an embrace to my heart. Wolfie, August, Ernie and Sienna will be over the moon to have the fifth member of the five aside! [purple-heart emoji].”
