star shared her emotional goal in 2025 to “get back to the old Amy” hours before she embarks on the live tour.
On Thursday (January 16), the Welsh beauty took to to update her loyal legion of fans about how rehearsals have been ahead of their big launch on Saturday night (January 18).
The blonde bombshell, 34, looked effortlessly beautiful with her blonde hair styled into beachy waves and a face full of minimal makeup.
Taking a break from rehearsals, the TV favourite could be seen showing off her new look in the dressing room as she updated fans about her golden locks.
She began: “So, I’ve had a lot of people messaging if I’m wearing hair extensions, no it’s actually a wig. I’m using a wig for tour to protect my own hair, and I’m quite precious with my own hair at the moment since its grown back.

“I just want it to continue growing as healthily and as quickly as it possibly can because I do miss my old hair. And thank you for all the messages about how my short hair looks lovely, but I just want to get back to where I was before cancer took my hair, I want to get back to the old Amy.”
The professional dancer went on to add that she’s looking forward to her long locks returning to make her feel more like herself again.
She went on: “I just think mentally that’s where I want to be and then I’ll decide what I want to do with my hair. But yes, this is my wig that my lovely Tracy did for the tour, I’m thinking of calling her Mollie, but send some suggestions if you’ve got any.”
Amy will be joining her celebrity partner as well as his partner Lauren Oakley – who stood in as his partner on he series when she sustained an injury – on the 30-show tour across the country.
Also taking to the stage will be ‘ and his dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas, Olympian Montell Doughas and Kai Widdrington, and Nancy Xu, and Opera singer and Katya Jones. They will be joined by this year’s finalists and Aljaz Skorjanec, and and Vito Coppola.
They will be joined on tour by more magnificent professional dancers: Dianne Buswell, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystal plus Robbie Kmetoni and Jake Leigh, adding to the glitz and the glamour of this supersized live tour.
Not forgetting the legendary Strictly TV judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and joining the tour for the first time, Motsi Mabuse. The cast will be completed with the sensational tour host, Two’s Strictly – It Takes Two’s Janette Manrara.
