UK weather maps show a brutal storm sweeping in from the Atlantic and and 75pmh winds.
According to WXCHARTS maps, aided by Metdesk data, the storm will hit on January 27.
The strongest winds will be felt in the southeast of England, according to the forecast.
There is also a good chance of rain on January 27, as accumulated precipitation maps show potential downpours up and down the UK.
Parts of Scotland, especially the north, are at higher risk, with the maps showing a lighter blue in parts of the Highlands.

The maps also show snowfall affecting Scotland, again, predominantly in the north, on the following day, January 28.

The says that this weekend – January 18 and January 19—will also be chilly, with “outbreaks of rain arriving in the west later.”
Into next week, the service says Monday and Tuesday will be cloudy with rain heading eastwards.
In the later stages of the month – January 21- January 30 – there is expected to be dry weather with clouds and light wind.

They add that rain is most likely to hit the northwest of the UK but could become more widespread.
Towards the end of the month, the weather will become more unsettled with stronger winds, rain, and maybe even snow.
The says: “There is a small chance however, that alternatively winds could turn much more easterly, and colder, bring the risk of snow showers.”
Looking forward to the first half of February, a flow from the Atlantic will bring with it unsettled, milder and windier conditions.
There is also the threat of “colder spells with associated frost, ice and snow”, the service concludes.
