Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has boldly predicted that will secure a Nobel Peace Prize within two years. Sharing his thoughts on the former US president’s ambitions, Morgan said: “My prediction, for what it’s worth, is that Trump ultimately, probably in two years’ time, wins a Nobel Peace Prize.”
Morgan insists that the controversial politician will achieve this accolade by resolving major international conflicts.
“He will have sorted out the Middle East issue and make the – war end somehow which doesn’t allow Putin an obvious victory, but allows more security going forward,” he said.
The Uncensored host added that the idea might upset Trump’s critics. He told : “That might send all the liberal wokies screaming into their hankies as normal, because they overreact to everything he ever does and can’t ever see good.
“But actually, if he was to achieve those two things on his watch, we should all applaud it.”

Morgan, who turns 60 in March, has long had an on-off friendship with Trump. The British journalist has interviewed the former president more than 40 times, most recently on his YouTube show Uncensored.
Their relationship has had its ups and downs, with Morgan being highly critical of Trump’s handling of the pandemic and declaring him “mentally unfit” to remain in the White House after the January 6 Capitol riots.
Despite their rocky past, Morgan revealed that he has spoken to Trump multiple times since the former president survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania last July. “I’ve had five or six chats with him since he got shot,” he added to the publication.
Sharing a lighthearted exchange, Morgan recalled how Trump had called him out of the blue while watching him on TV with Melania.

“He just literally started the conversation: ‘Piers, it’s Donald, how are you?’ He said: ‘I’m just watching you on TV in America with Melania. And I just said to Melania, ‘Wow, he’s looking great, isn’t he? I’m going to call him and tell him how great he looks.’ So I’m just calling you to tell you, you’re looking great.’”
The journalist’s recent career has also seen big changes.
After launching Uncensored on Murdoch’s TalkTV in 2022, the show moved exclusively to YouTube in February 2024.
Morgan’s latest deal guarantees News UK a share of advertising revenue from the show until 2029, cementing his place as a prominent media figure despite his polarizing opinions.
