Next shoppers are raving about a pair of drawstring trousers that are ‘so comfortable’ yet chic enough for wearing out. The £30 come in three stylish shades; deep burgundy, neutral cream and classic black.

The trousers are available in sizes six to 26 in short, regular and long lengths. They have an adjustable elasticated waistband ensuring a snug fit, while the elegant wide-leg silhouette and central leg crease create a formal finish.

The design makes them perfect for wearing to the office or on evenings out with a pair of heels and a blazer or leather jacket. Adding to their allure are practical dual side pockets making them just as suitable for daytime activities, as well as lounging around the house.

As reported by , the trousers have receieved who say they ‘fit perfectly’, ‘can be dressed up or down’, and are ‘comfortable and stylish’. One delighted buyer shared their thoughts on them: “Really lovely. Nice and soft. Wash well. Fabric falls really nicely. Very comfortable.”

“Lovely trousers, beautiful colour and smart fabric,” commented a second happy customer. “I have a menopause tummy so I always opt for elastic waists now, I’m usually size 10-12 in non-elastic trousers but sized down to an 8 with these as I didn’t want them oversized and baggy, they fit me perfectly.

“I’m just under 5’5 and bought regular length which is also perfect. Also love that they have pockets. Brilliant trousers all round and worth the price in my opinion.”

Someone else added: “They are so comfy. The material is good quality and the price was good. I love them.”

“,” another thrilled Next shopper said. “Nice rich colour. Not flappy wide which is nice. Length is good, I’m 5’8 and got regular in length. Also have pockets which is good. Can be worn casual or dressed up.”

Sadly not everyone was entirely satisfied with the trousers, as one customer explained: “Lovely colour, good fit. Reason for just three stars is they were shinier than I was expecting.”
