Previous reports claiming Manchester United were in for a quiet January transfer window have so far proved correct – with zero first-team arrivals or departures in the first 16 days. But the Red Devils could be thrust into action if Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro or another senior star seals an exit in the final two weeks.

The start of ‘s rebuild looks set to be scheduled for the summer, given January is a notoriously difficult time to complete business.

Marcus Rashford prioritises Barcelona

It’s a double dose of bad news for Milan, with Spanish outlet SPORT that Rashford is prioritising a move to Barcelona this month.

The 27-year-old reportedly had previously given Milan the green light, but there is said to have been recent silence from his end.

And SPORT report that Rashford is holding out hope that Barcelona will launch a pursuit before the winter transfer deadline.

Man Utd name Alejandro Garnacho price

United have reportedly rejected Napoli’s initial £40million bid to sign Garnacho but have left the door open for his departure.

That’s according to the , who state that the Red Devils have informed Napoli that they want at least £60m to part ways with Garnacho.

The 20-year-old winger is said to be keen on a move to Naples this month after starting just one of United’s last eight games.

However, whether the Italian club will meet his asking price before the winter deadline remains to be seen. It currently appears more likely that Garnacho will stay in Manchester until the summer.
