The cheapest city for pub meals has been revealed
Enjoying a delicious pub meal is a staple activity for Brits, especially during the colder winter months.
Whether you’re enjoying Sunday lunch with family or are out for dinner, pub grub is a popular option for casual dining in the UK.
And it was recently revealed that 37% of us visit our local once a fortnight to enjoy food and drink, but the price of this varies massively depending on your location.
With this in mind, has analysed the average cost of a pub meal for two across the nation to crown the towns and cities with the cheapest pub food.
Swansea came in at the top of the list, with the study finding that the average cost for a pub meal for two in the Welsh city was just £17.

The coastal city is home to 135 pubs, meaning there are plenty of options for both locals and tourists to enjoy their favourite pub dinners at a more affordable rate than anywhere else in the UK.
In second place were Gloucester, Kingston upon Hull and Coventry, where a pub meal for two costs an average of £22, and Southend on Sea and Leeds came in joint third, costing only £2 more at £24 for two.
