Leanne Quigley, one of the Faithful contestants on BBC’s , has opened up about her partner Sophie’s courageous battle with grade 3 breast cancer—and the incredible news that Sophie is now cancer free.

The 28-year-old veteran from North Wales, who shares twin boys with Sophie, took to social media to share the emotional journey they’ve been through since Sophie’s diagnosis last year.

“This is the only news we needed and wanted,” Leanne began. “On the 31st July 2024, my partner, and the mother of my children, was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. Watching the person you love fight through chemotherapy is up there with the worst things on earth.”

Reflecting on their experience, Leanne shared the life-altering impact of Sophie’s illness. “We quickly learnt to never take anything for granted ever again, and sadly had to learn that tomorrow is never promised and fear of the unknown literally killed us inside.”

But in an uplifting turn of events, Leanne revealed the moment they had been hoping for finally arrived.

Their announcement was met with an outpouring of love, including a sweet response from The Traitors host , who commented with a series of love hearts.

The couple’s journey has been a rollercoaster—marrying just a month after Sophie’s diagnosis while their premature twin boys, Hudson and Harley, fought for survival in intensive care before finally coming home in April.

Before joining The Traitors, Leanne spoke about her dreams of growing their family, with plans to use any potential prize money for IVF. “I would love to go through IVF again,” she revealed. “I went through IVF with my boys, and I was very poorly throughout my pregnancy, and then I went into early labour at six months. The boys were only 26 weeks when they were born.”

Leanne shared her hope of having a smoother experience with a future pregnancy. “I feel I missed out on enjoying that newborn stage. I’m so so grateful to have them, and I’m so lucky that they’re alive. I would love the opportunity to have another baby.”

The Traitors continues tonight at 9 pm on One.
