Fans of the cleaning influencer have taken to Facebook to share their remedies for dirty, scratched hobs, after one woman asked for some advice on how to keep it clean.

Taking to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page and posting a picture of the hob in question, one woman said: “We’ve moved in to a new house & this is on the electric hob any idea how to clean off?”

Thankfully, the group members were quick to suggest their own tried-and-tested solutions, with one proving to be extremely popular.

One person suggested: “One sided razor blade, carefully, at an angle then Hob Brite. That’s what I do.”

Another said: “Hob brite is good,” while someone else echoed: “Hob bright and a hob scraper you can get them from amazon. Amazing bit of kit and doesn’t scratch.”

“Try hob brite,” suggested someone else.

However, it’s not only this product that works wonders when it comes to a clean, streak-free hob.

The Pink Stuff paste was another hugely popular suggestion, with one person saying it ‘works a treat’ to remove any scratches or stains.

Someone else raved: “Pink stuff, mine is still like new.”

Another product that is said to keep your hob looking like new even after ‘eight years’ is the Method kitchen cleaner, according to another group member, which you can buy from for £2.75.

The experts at Beko recommend giving your glass hob a clean after every use, in order to prevent dirt and scratches from building up.

They said: “Not only is this a great way of preventing spillages to dry up and become difficult to clean, this will help to keep your gas hob looking its best.”
