Path of Exile 2 gets a new update
Path of Exile 2 is getting a big new update on , |S and PC (via ).
Just a few weeks into early access, Path of Exile 2 developer Grinding Gear Games is making some seriously big changes to the game.
Path of Exile 2 update 0.1.1 has a January 16/17 release date depending on your region. There’s no official release time, but it should launch in the early hours for fans in the UK.
As you can see from the patch notes below, the development team has made countless changes to endgame mapping.
This includes a ton of balance tweaks to monsters, chests, rare monsters, Essences and Strong Boxes.
Fans can also expect four new Tower Maps, including Alpine Ridge, Sinking Spire and Mesa.
Grinding Gear has also reworked the Lost Towers map to make playing there “less boring”, all the while spawning more maps with bosses.
One crucial quality of life change should make maps less cluttered and visual effects more visible.
Load times when opening the world map and Atlas Panel will also be improved as part of update 0.1.1.
You can check out the early patch notes below.
