The Duchess of Sussex is preparing to launch her new series With Love, Meghan on March 4 – which was originally set to air today.

Due to ongoing devastation of the wildfires in California, a decision was made to postpone the series earlier this week.

Amid her “professional split” for husband , the 43-year-old is said to be “turning to her friends” – many of whom will air in With Love, Meghan – in order to help her brand.

Unlike Meghan’s friends, only appears to make limited appearances in Meghan’s new series – something that had been deemed a strategic move for their individual brands.

PR expert Edward Coram James, who is CEO at Go Up, said: “Harry not being very involved in Meghan’s show is for the best right now. Their joint brand has taken hit after hit in recent years.”

Suggesting that the “professional split” will benefit them both, he added: “It’s a solid chance for Meghan to show [that] she can thrive on her own.”

Speaking of Harry, he added: “His best move is to carve out more independence from Meghan in both his public and professional life.”

As per , discussing Meghan’s choice to include her friends in her new series, he explained: “Meghan knows her brand has taken some hits, so this is about softening her image and giving people a reason to like her again.”

The expert than compares to Meghan’s strategy to that of US singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, adding: “Think Taylor Swift’s 1989 era when she rolled out her ‘squad’. It’s very curated and it’s also smart.”

Speaking of some of Meghan’s friends who are set to feature, he added: “Daniel Martin ties her to her royal wedding, Abigail Spencer is the reminder of her roots.

“Mindy Kaling? That’s a signal to her audience that she’s aligned with strong, successful women in entertainment.”
