Manchester City are reportedly plotting a move for Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso as plots a big-spending January.

City have been ravaged by injuries throughout the 2024/25 campaign and are looking to add bodies to their squad this month.

The Blues appear out of the title race, but Guardiola and co. are hoping to claw their way back into Champions League qualification.

While they’re yet to get any bodies through the door so far, as the January window edges towards its conclusion, the champions appear to be upping the ante.

According to reports in Italy, Cambiaso is the latest player City are targeting as they look to bolster their ranks this month.

It’s claimed talks with the Serie A outfit are planned but no official bid has been submitted yet. Juventus are reportedly looking for a fee in the region of £50million to part ways with the 24-year-old.

He’s been a regular in Thiago Motta’s side this season, featuring 25 times across all competitions for a Juventus side who are still unbeaten in Serie A.

However, Cambiaso wasn’t present for Juventus’ 2-0 victory at the Allianz Stadium over Guardiola’s men last month.
