Linda from BBC’s The Traitors make surprising admission after show exit

The latest instalment of The Traitors was action-packed, culminating in Linda’s dramatic reveal as a Traitor.

During an intense Round Table discussion, Linda was bombarded with suspicions from fellow contestants and ultimately cast out after gaining the highest number of votes, with even her fellow Traitor Minah turning on her.

Upon her exit, Linda expressed her gratitude, saying: “Guys, I’ve had the most amazing time, this has been the pinnacle of my life and to experience this at my age and get this far, I’ve had a whale of a time, so thanks for it! I am a Traitor.”

The revelation has left fans stunned as long-standing doubts about Linda were confirmed, leaving just one Traitor remaining among the players.

Don’t miss…

Post-show, Linda opened up about initially dreading the thought of being a Traitor. “I have to say when Claudia was going around the table I started to panic, thinking no I don’t want to be one, don’t choose me! Once I got over it, I absolutely loved it.”

Speaking about her co-stars, Linda described them as a lively group saying: “It was a very loud bunch! There were quite a lot of very big personalities, and I thought I’m a big personality but boy, there were some really big personalities. But all lovely. Everybody hugged, it was so nice, we were all in the same boat.”

Linda confessed that she didn’t have a strategy when she entered the show, and when questioned if she would have done anything differently, she responded: “I think I would have stood up for myself more.”

“I realised that in that group of people they were so vocal and I wasn’t as vocal as I could have been. I think Jake mentioned on the last Round Table when I defended myself that that was the first time he’d heard me defend myself,” she added.

“I would have been more vocal, but it’s difficult because everyone has things to say, and I was just listening. Because I was a Traitor and knew who the Traitors were, it was difficult to pick people to accuse because I knew they weren’t!”

When asked what she’d take from the experience, Linda had some revelations: “I’m a good liar short-term to people I don’t know, but not a good liar when its long-term and with people I actually get to like. I’ve realised I’m not as good a liar as I thought I was!”

Linda expressed that she had come to terms with her banishment: “I’m okay with it. I’m really proud that I wasn’t the first Traitor who left. I’m proud that I made it that far because I seriously thought I’d go out pretty quickly. I was told I got as far as Paul did in the last series and I never thought I’d get that far.”

The Traitors continues on One and iPlayer at 9PM tonight (January 16)
