Emmerdale’s April Windsor, portrayed by Amelia Flanagan, remains missing since her Christmas Day disappearance. However, some fans of the ITV soap believe they’ve figured out who is aiding the teenager.
April vanished following a tumultuous time in the Dales that triggered a downward spiral in her behaviour. She was kidnapped by boxing promoter Jade, played by Twinnie-Lee Moore, and subsequently discovered the truth about her mother Donna’s (Verity Rushworth) death in 2014.
These traumatic events led April to start consuming alcohol and drugs. She also had a disagreement with her father Marlon (Mark Charnock) before she went missing.
After vanishing from her bedroom, April was seen entering an unidentified car on Boxing Day, and later spotted on CCTV weeks afterwards. A distraught Marlon and the rest of the village have been frantically searching for April.
In a recent twist, a CCTV clip showing a potential sighting of April running across a street in Leeds was shown to her family, but Marlon was unable to find her, reports .

viewers are theorising that April is staying with her uncle Scott Windsor, played by Ben Freeman, who is looking after her amidst her recent upheaval.
Scott first appeared on the soap in 1993, portrayed by actor Toby Cokerell, before Ben took over in 1998. He was the half-brother to Donna Windsor who committed suicide in August 2014.
Scott has had his fair share of romantic entanglements in the village before he departed for London life back in 2007.
With April’s mysterious disappearance sending ripples through , fans are abuzz with speculation about a possible comeback for Scott.
