The catastrophic LA wildfires have killed at least 25 people as of Thursday morning and destroyed more than 12,000 structures, while nearly 30 people are still missing, according to officials.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been active in their efforts to support those affected by volunteering in Los Angeles earlier this week themselves, donating to charities and urging people to help through a statement.

Harry and Meghan have asked people to “open their homes” to those evacuated and “check in” on any of their “disabled or elderly neighbours”.

The statement also included a list of fire service charities, animal groups, and other initiatives to support those affected.
