Today, the entertainment world mourns the loss of , who at the age of 65 surrounded by the “peace and love” of her family.
Her death follows her cancer diagnosis, which is a disease that has deeply impacted the Nolan family.
In what is now her final interview, published on August 28, 2024, Linda candidly spoke about her ongoing struggle with cancer and the devastating toll it had taken on her life.
Linda was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, followed by secondary cancer in her pelvis in 2017.
In March 2023, she revealed that the disease had spread to her brain. Against the odds, she lived beyond her initial prognosis of not making it to Christmas, but her condition worsened.

Linda Nolan has sadly passed away following her battle with cancer
Speaking to , Linda shared that two tumours had grown in her brain, leaving her treatment options increasingly limited.
“I sobbed when my consultant first told me,” she said. “I know so many people are suffering and going through things, but I thought, just for once, could cancer just leave me alone? My heart sank.”
She added, “I had feared something was wrong. My balance has been getting worse and my memory—my sisters have to prompt me when I get lost in the middle of a sentence.”
Despite the grim prognosis, Linda remained determined to fight. She underwent immunotherapy starting in March 2023 and was preparing for another round of chemotherapy to control the cancer’s spread.

Reflecting on the treatment’s side effects, she said: “That will be five times I’ve lost my hair! But if it happens, I’ll just shave it again. Thankfully, he is not saying, ‘we can’t do anything for you.’”
Her resilience shone through as she declared: “We have more places to go. I am ready to try anything. I have done this before, and I can do it again.”
Sadly, although she was optimistic, Linda did not make it through the cancer treatment this time around.
