will celebrate a major milestone with her mum, Duchess Sophie, next week.

Louise, 21, is expected to be with the Duchess of Edinburgh next Monday as , despite being a university student.

This is because St Andrew’s University in Scotland, , is not set to begin its Candlemas Semester until January 27, when teaching for the new term begins, as reported by Woman&Home.

Louise can spend her mum’s 60th birthday with her, rather than miles away in Scotland.

While the Royal Family are set to mark Sophie’s milestone publicly in some way, the duchess will celebrate the occasion privately at her Surrey home with husband Prince Edward, 60, and Louise, 21.

It is believed that Sophie and Edward’s son James, Earl of Wessex, will be at his boarding school in Oxfordshire.

While the duchess and Prince Edward are senior working royals, their children do not carry HRH titles, allowing them to live more private lives away from the public spotlight.

Although Louise and James attend large royal events with their parents, including Trooping The Colour, Coronations, Royal weddings and Christmas Day walkabouts, they tend to live the rest of their lives away from the limelight.

This also means they are unlikely to spend their future careers as senior working royals like their parents.

Speaking about her and Edwards decision with , Sophie said: “We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living.

“Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely.”

The Duchess will likely celebrate her 60th privately with her nearest and dearest on Monday.
