Coleen Nolan breaks her silence after heartbreaking death of sister Linda

‘s has paid tribute to her sister following . She took to her X account to share the official statement from The Nolan’s page and simply captioned it with a broken heart emoji.

The post she shared featured a black and white image of Linda taken during treatment for her illness. It read: “It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved Linda Nolan.

“She faced incurable cancer with courage, grace & determination, inspiring millions. Surrounded by family, she passed peacefully. A pop icon and beacon of hope, Linda will never be forgotten.”

A statement released by her Linda’s agent, Dermot McNamara, revealed Coleen and her other sibling’s had been at her bedside at the time of her death.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan, the celebrated Irish pop legend, television personality, Guinness World Record holding West End star, Sunday Times bestselling author and Daily Mirror columnist,” he said.

“She passed at around 10:20am at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on the MCEW Ward.

“The family said the hospital couldn’t do enough, they were tireless and made it so much more bearable.

“She passed peacefully, with her loving siblings by her bedside, ensuring she was embraced with love and comfort during her final moments.

“Linda’s legacy extends beyond her incredible achievements in music and entertainment. She was a beacon of hope and resilience, sharing her journey to raise awareness and inspire others.

“Rest in peace, Linda. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.”

Linda died following a lengthy battle with cancer. She had been dealing with incurable secondary cancer since 2017, after first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006.

However, in 2020, her condition worsened when cancer was detected in her liver.

Subsequently, she began immunotherapy treatment last year after a tumor was found on the left side of her brain.

This is the latest tragedy to hit the family. Linda’s sister Bernie died from breast cancer aged 52 in 2013, and Linda’s other sister Anne is currently living with stage three breast cancer.
