has been hit with backlash after she shared a meme ripping into . The TV presenter posted to X/Twitter as she shared a meme.

It read: “How come every Right-Wing solution to poverty, hunger, health and employment involves giving rich people more money?”

She then captioned the post, taking a savage swipe at Reform UK leader, . The former Countdown star viciously penned: “So true…. How’s NINE JOBS NIGEL doing?”

However, it seems she did not receive the expected response as she was inundated with criticism, with one social media user telling Carol to “grow up”.

They wrote: “Grow up Carol. How does Reform UK’s flagship policy of raising the starting point for Income Tax to £20,000 (taking 6 million of the lowest paid out of tax) ‘give more money to rich people’? That is what you call a genuinely ‘progressive’ policy.”

Another added: “Blimey Carol, god forbid a man works hard for a living. This post epitomises everything wrong in today’s society, working hard is seen as a bad thing.”

“Are you saying it’s wrong for someone to work hard? Is it better for someone to claim benefits?,” a third quizzed.

While someone else penned: “Carol, I don’t think you’re in a position to talk smack… Didn’t you advocate for the political party that believes in this exact same thing? Remind me, what is Labour’s solution to deal with the problems?”

“Ironic, coming from someone whose net worth is apparently 18 million. Typical Labour ideology. Rich people telling poor people that other rich people are the cause of their problems…,” a fifth posted.

Mr Farage has been nicknamed ‘Nine Jobs Nigel’ after figures showed the eye-watering amount he has allegedly earned since becoming a member of Parliament. Figures reportedly show he has banked £571,585 from side-hustles in less than six months.

His jobs include working as a presenter on GB News, on which he shares his opinions and views on the day’s topics from Monday to Thursday each week. He reportedly earns a staggering £219,506 for his role on the news channel.

Mr Farage is also listed as a public speaker on a number of sites people can use to book famous faces for events. The politician also offers fans and followers personalised video messages on Cameo.

A video featuring the MP will set you back at least £77, and his video messages last on average 39 seconds. Mr Farage is also said to have earned £24,000 from writing for The Guardian as a columnist.
