As another series of rolls around, viewers have been left obsessed with the backstories of the new contestants.
Among the groups of Faithfuls and Traitors, one player’s story in particular stands out as truly remarkable.
Nathan Khider, who was banished in the very first round, once experienced homelessness before transforming his life and becoming a millionaire.
Nathan, 39, is from London and left school at 15 without earning any GCSEs.
Despite this setback, he struck gold with a property deal that earned him an “enormous amount” of money.

However, his newfound wealth didn’t last long. After living the high life, he quickly burned through his fortune and ended up living in his car for six months.
Reflecting on this difficult period, Nathan told : “People say six months is nothing, but at the time it felt like an eternity. It felt like I was there forever. Every day, ‘What food do I eat? What clothes do I wear?’”
Determined to turn his life around, Nathan found work in real estate, eventually venturing to the Middle East.
There, he rebuilt his life and learned the art of taking “safe risks”.

“I told myself, ‘What’s the worst that can happen? I’ve already been homeless,’” he added.
Today Nathan is a millionaire, running several thriving businesses and acting as proof that determination can change even the most difficult circumstances.
Despite his inspiring backstory, Nathan’s time on The Traitors was cut short.
He was the first to be banished at the roundtable, leaving viewers without the chance to see how his past might have influenced his gameplay.
This comes as a former winner of The Traitors has shared what she thinks would need to change on the show to make it more watchable.
Meryl Williams that she thinks the series should have “more episodes”.
She pointed out: “There is such a long gap, having the weekend in between the shows. Then you have to wait until Wednesday.”
Despite that, she added: “But I think they’re doing really well, they’ve done amazing. They are definitely learning a lot. They have also put more budget into this season than they did in season one.”
