Measuring at 354 ft with a massive width of 5,604 ft, the has one of the largest sheets of falling water in the world – drawing over a million visitors annually.
However, besides its size, there is one thing that attracts people from across the globe to come and see this stunning wonder. That being an infinity rock pool which sits on the edge of the waterfall.
After thousands of years of erosion, many rock pools have formed around Victoria Falls but none are quite like this one called the .
Nothing sounds crazier than parking up on the edge of an huge waterfall allowing waves of water to crash past you but for many this once-in-a-lifetime experience is worth the risk.

It takes a rocky walk and swim across the Zambezi River before experience the thrill of the Devil’s Pooll. From there, you’ll find yourself in the pool where the force of the river pushes you right up to the edge, with the rock lip putting you at a halt.
Over 500-million litres of water cascade over the Falls every minute and the fearless that get up close will feel the waves of the river crash pass them before it falls down the 354 feet drop.
Of course there are safety measures put into place for those who visit. The activity is only open during certain periods of the year – usually during low water-season which is between August and January and it must be booked with a guide.

The Devil’s pool is close to Livingstone Island, Zambia, where you can get a guided boat tour to the attraction.
