Fox News was mocked on Monday for referring to former-turned-future first lady Melania Trump by the wrong title.

“Melania opens up about becoming second lady again,” read a chyron that appeared on screen during Trump’s interview with “Fox & Friends” cohost Ainsley Earhardt.

But Melania Trump will become the first lady for the second time when her husband, President-elect Donald, returns to the White House next week.

Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President-elect JD Vance, will become the second lady.

Fox News appeared to have corrected the flub in footage of the interview that it later shared on YouTube.

But the error lived on, on social media.

During the interview, Melania Trump talked about differences in opinion with her husband, the return of her “Be Best” anti-bullying platform and where she’ll live during the second Trump administration.
