Extra and Premium subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the new games for January 2025.

Consisting of around a dozen and games, the PlayStation Plus Extra line-up will be unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm GMT UK time on January 15. The games will be available to download and play less than a week later, on the morning of January 21.

PS Plus Premium subscribers will also have access to a selection of retro PlayStation games, as well as a PSVR 2 title.

Daily Express will update this article with the full list of games after Sony makes the announcement. It’s also worth checking back for any potential leaks leading up to the official reveal.

The last batch of , so fans will be hoping for more of the same.

Without any leaks to speak of at the time of writing, fans have been ahead of the reveal.

Games with lots of predictions include Resident Evil 4 Remake, Hogwarts Legacy, Final Fantasy 16 and Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

Other popular picks include God of War Ragnarok, Atomic Heart, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and The Crew Motorfest.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name is also tipped to make an appearance, especially with another new Yakuza spinoff launching next month.

First-person shooter Robocop could realistically join the line-up, alongside Sonic Superstars, Mafia Trilogy and EA FC 25.

Then there are the less realistic picks of Still Wakes the Deep, Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2 and Red Dead Redemption.

Of course, it’s not all good news, because a selection of high-profile games will also .

Capcom classics such as Resident Evil 2 Remake and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will be removed from PS Plus Extra in January. 

Other games leaving PS Plus Extra include Just Cause 3 and Just Cause 4, as well as Life is Strange and spinoff Before the Storm.

That’s on top of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Legend of Mana, Secret of Mana, Hardspace Shipbreaker and Pure Hold’em.
